Miss Shauna

Director

My name is Shauna Day, and I am the Center Director. I have been working in childcare for 15 years and am also a proud mother of three. Supporting the growth and development of children has always been my passion. I truly enjoy getting to know each child and their family, fostering meaningful relationships along the way.

Outside of work, I love spending time at the beach and enjoying sports. Being part of the Red House community is an incredible experience. Our small, privately-owned center creates a close-knit, family-like atmosphere that I am so proud to be a part of.

Miss Becca

Assistant Director & Infant/Toddler Teacher

Hello, my name is Becca, and I am the Assistant Director and Infant/Toddler Teacher at The Red House Academy. With over five years of experience here, I am passionate about fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for our youngest learners.

As a mother and a devoted sports fan, I bring my enthusiasm and creativity into the classroom every day. What I cherish most about working at The Red House Academy is witnessing the remarkable growth and development of children. Our small, close-knit community feels like a family, making it a truly special place to be.

Miss Colie

Preschool Teacher

Hi, My Name is Nicole Joyce, but the children and staff call me Colie, I have been working with children since 2008. I started passing out snack trays after school and in the summer. I loved children growing up and since I was a little girl, I always dreamed of working with children. After I graduated high school, I then took courses to pursue my early education career. I have worked alongside all ages from infants to school age children.

Pre-K Teacher

Hi my name is Kristal I am a pre-K teacher and have been in the field of education for 30 years. I enjoy spending time with my family. I like to clean, garden, and do yardwork. I am a die-hard Disney fan.

Floater Teacher

Hi my name is Jasmine I have been working with kids since 2015. I enjoy traveling when I’m not at work.

Miss Denise

Floater Teacher

My name is Ms. Denise I have been working in childcare for over 30 years. My position at The Red House Academy is a floater teacher. I am also considered The Red House Academy “Mimi!”

Miss Megan

Infant/Preschool Teacher

Hi! My name is Miss Megan and I have been working in childcare for 8 years now. Between having 9 nieces and nephews, babysitting opportunities, and gaining preschool teaching experience, I have such a heart for kids and love getting to watch them progress both academically and non-academically. I am currently a college student fulfilling my passion for nursing and psychology but I hope to continue working with kids for many more years to come!

Preschool Teacher

My name is Ms. Allison. I’ve been working in the childcare field for 7 years. I have been a teacher certified for 4 years. I have a 5-year-old daughter. I joined The Red House Academy 1 year ago in September.

Miss Jenn

Floater Teacher

My name is Jen. I have been working in childcare for the past 7 years. I am a passionate childcare worker dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children to learn and grow! My favorite part is watching them grow and complete their milestones!

Miss Sophia

Floater Teacher

My name is Sophia. I am a woman of God first and foremost, and a mother of one, but a mom to many. I treat all kids as if my own. I come from a large family of 14 siblings, so it was never a dull moment growing up. My love for kids began at the young age of 12 (not counting my siblings) but when I first babysat for a family friend. I am the newest member of TRHA family, I bring my passion for protecting, comforting, and teaching kids how to express and navigate the world. After all the children are our future, and like Allstate they’re in good hands. God bless!

Toddler/Preschool Teacher

Hi, I’m Kathryn. I’ve been around kids my whole life, having all younger cousins. Working with children has always interested me. I love watching them grow each day and finding solutions as they learn.

Miss Olivia

Infant/Toddler Teacher

Hi, I’m Olivia. I’ve always loved working with children, especially in childcare, witnessing them learn and grow. I also do children’s photography. Additionally, I’m a proud dog mom, and I love it so much.

Kayley

Preschool Teacher

My name is Ms. Kayley. I am a preschool teacher but have worked with all different ages. I have worked at The Red House Academy for 2 years now. I love watching all the children hit their milestones and learn new things each day.

Toddler/Preschool Teacher

I have always enjoyed working with children. I have been teaching for over 20 years. I am passionate about teaching children’s new skills. My goal as a teacher is to help children reach their journey towards developmental milestones.

Infant/Toddler Teacher

My name Is Lauren I have worked in the childcare field for 8 + years. I love babies and all children of all ages. I enjoy nurturing them and loving them like they are my own

Jazzmin

Infant/Toddler Teacher

My name is Ms. Jazzmin. I am an infant-toddler teacher. I have 5 children of my own and a new grandchild. I have 15+ years of experience in childcare.
